Thoghts on the pope.

So - the pope passed away over the weekend. I know this has been beat to death in traditional media and the "blog-o-sphere" but whatever.

He made the papacy transparent. He made the papacy accessible. He did good things for the Catholic Church all while overseeing some of the more horrible moments in it's history. He did it with grace and humanity.

He ran his race and in the end met it with dignity.

What more can we ask for?
