Because damn it, good TV can exist. (and other stuff)

Today I'll pass on three links.

One about Global Frequency

The talented and witty Assistant/ Atlas wrote this post a little while back. It contains good advice and I hope that by following we can make the WB (or someone) get the point that we want to see Global Frequency.

The second link is just amusing to me.

Hanzi Smatter

This is a blog dedicated to the misuse of Chinese characters (Hanzi or Kanji) in Western culture. Among my other interests, I study Japanese. I'm not that good at it and I still see issues where people are using words and character out of context. It is often funny. This guy collects them for your amusement.

And finally, one more link about American Apparel

Is the owner creepy? I would venture to say yes. Is it brilliant marketing? Apparently. Is he showing the hypocrisy of Levi's being produced overseas? Again, I'd say yes. Is it a lawsuit waiting to happen? (Is the brain (mind) the most erotic part of the human body?) Let's say yes.

Morford, who usually annoys me, manages to write an interesting piece on American Apparel. Part of me wants to salute Dov for being open and upfront about his predilections, and the other part is apathetic and doesn’t really care as long as the clothing is good.

Maybe I'm wrong, but if so - I don't want to be right.

More later.

Talented and witty? Awww, shucks. [bashfully grins]

But seriously, I could use all the help I can get with the Global Frequency. Please?
Email the Variety TV Editors about GF:
mschneider@reedbusiness.com [Michael Schneider]
jadalian@reedbusiness.com [Josef Adalian]

Variety's a good next step and will ensure those WB execs know they're being publicly humiliated for being behind the times and putting out crappy tv.

Thanks! -Atlas
