get on the Global Frequency

I posted this on LJ and thought I might as well reproduce it here -

So those of you who like good sci-fi (or just good television - you know. the kind with plots and stuff) might want to check out this post over on Assistant/Atlas.

I'll echo his part of his opening statement here:
Dear Lawyers for the WB, Warner Brothers et al.

I'm really sorry I accidentally saw Global Frequency pilot for the show your network didn't pick up.
[snip part that I didn't do] ...
[/snip]
Dear WB Development People,

The thing is, I absolutely loved the pilot-- I really wish it was among your new fall shows.

I really did like this show. I liked the premise, I liked the actors, I liked the whole shebang. Legally, I cannot recommend that you go download Global Frequency (but I will say you should pick up the graphic novels by Warren Ellis)

I know some of you are geeks like me and read Wired and Slashdot. Wired did an article on GF that was in turn linked on Slashdot.

What I do know is that I would Tivo Global Frequency, IF some TV network decided to produce it.

Pretty please?

I agree. All around good stuff.

I din't mention it here - but I probably should. My dear friend and I decided to make a shirt for the ladies. She explains it thusly
'Cos of women who objectify themselves and then complain about it.

Alternately, because i completely wouldn't wear a STOP STARING AT MY TITS [TEE HEE] 'oh look i'm ironic, you have to stare at my chest to read this ::titter::' shirt, but one that just says BOOBS i very much would. i'm all for labeling and being straightforward. TRUTH IN ADVERTISING. :D

Hey, thanks for the shout-out on my Global Frequency post. By the way, your link to my blog is off slightly-- there's an extra "l" there at the end. There may just be hope for the GF yet.

Assistant Atlas - no problem - I’m happy to help. Here is hoping that someone is listening.

PS - I apologize for the bad grammar and atrocious spelling in the original post. That will teach me to post with out proofreading.
